SHOES

I love them. And yet I have a hard time finding any when I go shopping. See, just because I would sell my life to debt if it meant obtaining the perfect pair of heels, doesn't mean I would wear just ANYTHING. I'm, infact, very particular when it comes to my shoes. I'm not about to put anything on my feet that I don't just absolutely love.

So a couple weeks ago I was having a blast visiting with friends, and we decided at 10:30 pm that we wanted to go shopping. But where might one go shopping so late at night? Particularly when you're in Idaho, like we were. Have you guessed it yet?

Walmart

Please, don't judge me. In my defense I'd only ever been to a Walmart, probably two times previous in my entire life. I'm one of those people who likes to pretend to at least try and buy local. Plus, I hate Walmart. But there we were. And we made a real shopping experience out of it. Let me tell you. We hit up the undies first, then moved to shoes, then to movies, then to accessories and bags, and wrapped it all up in the regular clothing department.

I, who hate Walmart spent at least three times as much as anyone. A list of purchases:

2 scarves

1 bag

1 movie

1pair of shorts

1 pair of shoes *

See that? SHOES!! I bought Walmart shoes!! For $14.99! I've never spent more than $100 on a pair of shoes. (Probably because I've never alowed myself to even look at shoes of that price. I know where I am weak...) But I HAVE spent $85 on a pair of shoes before. And I don't feel bad about it in the least. So the fact that I found a reasonably cute pair of shoes at Walmart is on the brink of miraculous. And what's more: I've been getting compliments on them like crazy! Nuts huh?

I was going to post some pictures of cute shoes I found online, but I coudn't find any I loved enough to post. Which is probably a good thing, because if I did, I would want to buy them.

Oh, by the way. If you find any cute yellow heels... I've been dying for an adorable pair of yellow heels.
